Christmas Podcast

Snapshot_001 (1)

You might like to listen to this steampunk podcast, based in the fictional city of New Babbage. It has a full hour of lovely songs and stories, all themed around the lives of street urchins. You can even hear me read one of my steampunk stories as part of the show too.

Merry Christmas everyone.

  1. I’ve downloaded it and I plan to give it a listen this week! Looking forward to it!

  2. That’s great – I hope that you enjoy it. My “Christmas Penny” story starts at 34 minutes into the podcast however, I would strongly recommend that you listen to the song that starts at exactly 30 minutes. The song is really beautiful and very moving too. Have a very festive holiday, David.

    • I gave a listen on my drive over to Tucson the other day. The whole podcast was delightful and I really enjoyed the stories including “Christmas Penny.” I had a wonderful holiday and hope your new year is off to a terrific start, Maxwell!

  3. Thank you so much for your feedback. I really enjoyed hearing my work on Radio Riel and the New Babbage podcast. It made my Christmas! However, without a doubt, I think that the preceding entry (the “Spare a Penny” song by MacKnight Culdesac, starting at 30 mins 00 seconds) really stole the show. I’ve listened to that song again and again since the holidays. Happy New Year David.
